As part of its weekly Open Studios, the Cité internationale des arts regularly invites curators, artists and partner institutions to imagine curated circuits for the public.
In this context and in partnership with the Institut français, Alexia Pierre has been invited to curate the programme for this evening, bringing together artists from the Institut français x Cité internationale des arts programme.
“Our bodies, our very beings, are traversed, shaped even, by constant vibration. On what frequency, then, do we tune in to one another? Open studios, performances, participatory actions, invitations to play as shared refusals, forms fusing bodies and spaces, histories resurfacing from oblivion; a multiplicity of gestures, of voices, harness the essence of what constitutes an assembly. The practices of 16 artists emerge in dialogue, enter into sympathetic resonance, for an evening.” – Alexia Pierre
