Cycle “Consolation” – A proposal as part of Christine Herzer’s residency project

As part of her residency at the Cité internationale des arts, artist and poet Christine Herzer is presenting a series of encounters around her project Consolation.

Through various formats (readings, individual conversations, listening sessions, exhibition visits), this program invites participants to explore different forms of attention, storytelling, and sharing.

Conversation with Pascal Boroto & Mohamed Mbougar Sarr

On May 12 at 8.30 pm, the Maison de la Poésie is hosting an evening of readings and discussion centred on Pascal Boroto’s novel Le Nom de ma mère. Boroto will be in conversation with the writer Mohamed Mbougar Sarr, chair of the jury for the 2026 Prix Voix d’Afriques, with Catherine Fruchon-Toussaint moderating.

Pascal Boroto is the 2026 laureate of the Prix Voix d’Afriques and is currently in residence at the Cité.
