Reopening of the auditorium for hire

Newly renovated and located in the heart of the Marais district, within a cultural institution that is unique in the world, it is the ideal venue for your public or private events.

With a surface area of 300 m² and 128 seats, accessible to people with reduced mobility, our auditorium can be adapted to a wide variety of events: concerts (acoustic or amplified), conferences, screenings, professional meetings, artistic performances, film shoots or photo shoots. Located in the main building of the Cité, on level -1, its new equipment blends in perfectly with its original architecture, typical of the 1970s. It is equipped with a 16-stop A. Maciet organ with mechanical transmission built between 1978 and 1991, and a Bösendorfer ½ grand piano.

The auditorium is available for booking every day (except Wednesdays) from 10 a.m. to midnight and can be rented for a full or half day.

It is possible to organise breakfast, coffee breaks or a buffet to accompany your event in the space located at the entrance to the auditorium, where there is a permanent exhibition on the history of our institution and the artists it has welcomed since 1965.

Other spaces within the Cité can be hired to suit your needs.
