ADAGP x Cité internationale des arts

Programme for visual artists living in France, outside Île-de-France region

Programme

In order to encourage the mobility of French artists, the ADAGP and the Cité internationale des arts joined forces to structure a programme allowing an artist based outside of the Ile de France region to benefit from a three-month research-based residency and professional support from the Cité internationale des arts.

While public, associative and private initiatives have tended to rebalance the cultural disparities created by a geography that has been centralized for too long, Paris remains a privileged place for encounters and opportunities.

In order to respond to the specific needs of artists looking to nourish their artistic projects and develop their professional network within the Parisian context, this residency will be supported by the Cité internationale des arts team.
