Programme for Iranian authors.

The Cité internationale des arts runs a residency programme for authors living in Iran who wish to develop a research or creative project in the field of writing (dramaturgy, literature, film, art criticism, poetry, etc.). Each year, three authors benefit from a three-month residency in Paris.

As part of the programme, residents benefit from professional support, monthly meetings and individual interviews with the main players in the cultural sector, both independent and institutional. It is also rooted in the life, activities and networks of the Cité internationale des arts.

• Be of Iranian nationality, work and live in Iran
• Not be a binational national of Europe or the American continent
• Be under 45 years of age and have been developing professional artistic practive since at least five years
• Be a playwright, a writer (literature or poetry), a filmmaker or an art critic
