Le Marais
The historic building of the Cité internationale des arts, inaugurated in 1965, was specifically designed for the project by architects Paul Tournon, Olivier-Clément Cacoub, and Ngô Viết Thụ, all three recipients of the Prix de Rome. Bringing together 280 live-in-studios, the site spans over 35,330 m² and also includes several annex buildings constructed between the 18th century and the 1980s.
Montmartre
Invested in by the Cité in 1971, the Montmartre site brings together 18th-century buildings and others built in the 1960s. Covering 2,200 m², it includes 30 artists’ studios.
The site also houses the Villa Radet, an iconic building deeply rooted in the neighborhood’s history.
