Programme for artists based in Luxembourg
Programme
The Cité internationale des arts, in partnership with Kultur | lx – Arts Council Luxembourg, is offering a three-month research and creation residency program for artists of all disciplines, of Luxembourg nationality or resident in Luxembourg. The aim of this residency program is to enable an artist, author, dancer, choreographer or musician to carry out a personal research and creation project. The project will preferably be carried out in conjunction with a partner institution, structure or artist identified in Paris and its surrounding area. For the artist, this stay is a privileged moment for reflection and creation, and will contribute to the visibility of the Luxembourg artistic scene in Paris.

Eligibility criteria
- Be a Luxembourg national and/or work and live in Luxembourg
- Have been developing a professional artistic practice
- Be able to speak French or English
- Be a visual artist, a musician, a dancer or a choreographer, a playwright, a writer (literature or poetry)
The partner of this programme :
Kultur | lx – Arts Council Luxembourg was created in July 2020 as an initiative of the Luxembourg Ministry of Culture. The establishment of this new tool for the support, promotion and development of the Luxembourgish cultural scene is the result of a broad consultation with the creative sector.
Setting up this new institution is part of the Luxembourg government’s cultural development plan, known as “Kulturentwécklungsplang 2018-2028”. The operations of Kultur | lx revolve around three core strategies: stimulating the career development of Luxembourgish creatives; supporting and encouraging the dissemination of artistic creation; and boosting the impact and promotion of artistic creations in and outside of Luxembourg.
