Residency programme for artists from Austria
The programme
Every year, the Federal Ministry of Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport x Cité internationale des arts programme enables 9 artists of Austrian nationality or permanently resident in Austria to join the Cité’s community of 300 artists. It offers 4-month residencies to artists working in the fields of visual arts, photography and media arts.

- Be of Austrian nationality or permanently resident in Austria
The partner of this programme :
The Federal Ministry of Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport is responsible for promoting contemporary art in Austria and the work of Austrian artists abroad. It is responsible for federal funding programmes in all sectors of contemporary art (department IV/6 is responsible for visual arts, digital arts, photography and design as well as fashion). It provides financial support to associations, institutions, galleries and Austria-based artists, acquires artworks, organises workshop programmes in Austria and abroad, federal exhibitions and participations in international art festivals and biennials.
