The programme
Every year, the Union of Bulgarian Artists x Cité internationale des arts programme enables 12 Bulgarian artists to join the Cité’s community of 300 artists. At the end of their 2-month residency, the artists present their work at an exhibition in the UBA gallery, which is the largest in Bulgaria.

The Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA) is a non-governmental non-profit organisation of professional artists in Bulgaria. Its primary mission is to promote contemporary Bulgarian art among the national and international public. It provides its members with professional support and offers them the opportunity to take part in national and international forums. The UBA has 17 sections including painting, sculpture, ceramics, art criticism, graphic art, contemporary art.
