The programme
The Samsung Foundation for Culture x Cité internationale des arts programme enables 2 artists or researchers to join the Cité community each year. Korean artists or researchers who have been active for at least 5 years are eligible for this 6-month residency programme.

Eligibility criteria
- Have been an active artist or researcher for at least 5 years
- For researchers: not be affiliated with an art-related institution or company
- Have a concrete project to be carried out in Paris or the Paris region
- Be of Korean nationality
- Have a good command of English or French and not be prevented from obtaining a French visa
- Not have already been in residence at the Cité
The partner of this programme :
The Samsung Foundation for Culture has been supporting residencies for Korean artists at the Cité internationale des arts since 1996. In 2024, the foundation extended this opportunity to researchers, aiming to expand its support for Korean arts professionals and further encourage cultural exchange between Korea and France.
