Following the call for applications published in summer 2025, the Institut français and the Cité internationale des arts are proud to announce the selection of 53 laureates representing 42 different nationalities for the 2026/2027 residency programme.
This programme is open to artists and cultural professionals who have been living abroad for at least five years, with no age limit and from all artistic disciplines. The laureates benefit from tailored support from the teams of the Cité internationale des arts and the Institut français, as well as a residency lasting three, six or nine months.
Developed in collaboration with one or more cultural partners, institutions from the French cultural network abroad, art centres, galleries, theatres, or other organisations in France and internationally, the programme offers artists the opportunity to develop a research and creative project in Paris. It also encourages their integration into Parisian and French professional networks, fostering collaborations and exchanges with the local artistic scene.
