Welfare Association (Taawon) is a non-profit organization founded in Geneva in 1983 by Palestinian business leaders and intellectuals. It is one of the largest developmental organizations in Palestine and Lebanon’s refugee camps, impacting over a million Palestinians annually. With nearly $950 million invested, Taawon focuses on development, relief, and cultural preservation, supporting both individuals and institutions through innovation and strong partnerships.
