Residency programme for artists from Switzerland, Germany and France
The programme
The Atelier Mondial x Cité internationale des arts programme is aimed at visual artists, dancers, cultural mediators, textile artists, writers and translators living or working in the cross-border area between Switzerland (cantons of Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft, canton of Solothurn), Germany (Baden-Süd region) and France (Alsace region). Following the selection process, the laureates are welcomed to the Cité for residencies lasting between 3 and 12 months.

- Have a practice in the visual arts, dance, cultural mediation, textile art, literature or translation
- Live or work in the cross-border area between Switzerland (cantons of Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft, canton of Solothurn), Germany (Baden-Süd region) and France (Alsace region).
The partner of this programme :
The Atelier Mondial is an international residency scheme offering artists from the Basel-Fribourg-Mulhouse cross-border region the opportunity to work for several months in one of the programme’s partner countries. In the spirit of a traditional exchange, the Atelier Mondial welcomes artists living in Germany, France and Switzerland to its studios. Its aims are to promote an interdisciplinary, multicultural and diversified dialogue on art and to create a substantial, inclusive and lasting network between artists.
