Every year, the Visarte Zentralschweiz x Cité internationale des arts programme enables two artists from the cantons of Central Switzerland to take up residencies in the heart of Paris. The programme is aimed at artists working in the visual arts.

The partner of this programme :
Visarte is the professional association of visual artists, architects and independent curators in Switzerland. It represents their interests at a political and social level. As the oldest professional organisation for artists (founded in 1866), Visarte advocates for good framework conditions in connection with artistic creation and advises its current 3000 members. In addition to the national organisation – Visarte Switzerland – there are 18 regional groups, and a group of women artists, Visarte Donna. Visarte is represented in the cantons of Lucerne, Uri, Schwyz, Nidwalden, Obwalden and Zug by Visarte Zentralschweiz.
