The programme
Every year, the Visarte Ticino programme enables artists with a personal or professional link to the Canton of Ticino to come to the Cité for a residency of 3 to 6 months. The programme is intended as a springboard for young artists, but older artists can also apply. It is open to all artistic practices.

The partner of this programme :
Visarte is the professional association of visual artists, architects and independent curators in Switzerland. It represents their interests at a political and social level. As the oldest professional organisation for artists (founded in 1866), Visarte advocates for good framework conditions in connection with artistic creation and advises its current 3000 members. In addition to the national organisation – Visarte Switzerland – there are 18 regional groups, and a group of women artists, Visarte Donna.
