Every year, the Canton de Neuchâtel x Cité internationale des arts programme enables professional artists from Neuchâtel to take up residencies in the heart of Paris for 6 months. The programme is designed to give artists from all disciplines the time and space they need to develop their practice.

The Department of Culture of the Canton of Neuchâtel defines and implements the canton’s cultural policy by supporting artistic creation that is alive, rooted in the region and open to dialogue. Its mission is to support professional artistic practices, accompany cultural projects and events, and promote access to culture in order to encourage diversity of expression and strengthen the link between culture and society.
