The programme
Each year, the IKSV x Cité internationale des arts programme gives 4 Turkish artists the opportunity to take up residencies at the Cité. It is aimed at artists under the age of 40 whose practice falls within the fields of visual arts, experimental film, design and performance arts.

The Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) is a non-profit cultural institution. Since 1973, it has been pursuing its efforts to support culture and the arts in Istanbul. In particular, İKSV organises the Istanbul music, film, theatre and jazz festivals, as well as the Istanbul Biennale. The Foundation also supports artistic and cultural production by writing reports with the aim of contributing to the development of cultural policy, commissioning works and participating in co-productions on an international or local scale.
