Les Francophonies – Des écritures à la scène and the Cité internationale des arts have structured a residency programme for international francophone playwrights. The aim of this programme is to enable authors to benefit from 1 month residency and immersion in the environments proposed by each of the partners, to develop a scriptwriting project.
The partners are committed to supporting each author’s project by providing them with professional support, networking and a funded four-month residency in Limoges and in Paris.

- Work and live outside of France
- Be a francophone playwright
- Be in the process of developing a new play
The partner of this programme :
A space for discoveries, the birthplace of up-and-coming artists, an abundance of multiple ideas, theatrical performances (which remain the main theme), dance, music, circus, street arts, documentary films and exhibitions, to which we have added the accompaniment of authors on their writing paths, international training courses in the performing arts, a laboratory of ideas, a public square dedicated to exchanges between spectators and artists: Les Francophonies – Des écritures à la scène is all this and more.
