60 Years + 1 Day | The Cité Celebrates its Anniversary

On May 21, 2025, at 60 years and one day old, the Cité celebrates a major milestone in its history.

To mark the occasion, we present an evening event that reflects what it has been for six decades: a place for living, creating, and researching… a veritable artistic crossroads!

Conceived as a tribute to its past while looking resolutely to the future, this exceptional evening will mix exhibitions, concerts, and a DJ set in a warm, festive atmosphere.

60 Years From Now: Relaying, a collective exhibition conceived as a speculative exercise on the Cité’s next 60 years.

Emersions: A Living Archive 3 Their Story(ies), a dive into the Cité’s collective memory through its archives, stories, and testimonials from women and non-binary artists who have been in residence at the Cité.

Concerts and a DJ set

A refreshment bar/food truck will be on hand to accompany this moment of sharing and encounters.
