TaxiTram x Cité
As part of the support programme, on 8 July 2025, the artists in residence at the Cité internationale des arts had the pleasure of taking part in a day of cultural discovery organised in partnership with TRAM – the Paris/Île-de-France contemporary art network.
Aboard the TaxiTram, they explored two iconic venues on the Île-de-France art scene: the Cyclop and the MAC VAL.
At Jean Tinguely’s Cyclop, they were able to view the monumental work with art guides and Léa Giraux, head of audience engagement, who also introduced them to the 2025 artistic season, Æterna Flux, and works by Antoine Nessi and Haena Yoo. The artists in residence also had the opportunity to speak with François Taillade, director of the Cyclop.
At the MAC VAL, they were welcomed by Fati Konate, who is in charge of the residency programme and artistic commissions; she introduced them to the museum’s artist residencies, after which they toured Najia Mehadji’s exhibition Mon amie la rose with Chloé Thouvenin, a tour guide, followed by an introduction and a self-guided tour of the group exhibition Forever Young.
