Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Literature
Jean-Christophe Teva Shigetomi, a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies in Aix-en-Provence and holder of a Specialized Graduate Diploma in Air Transport, has held various positions of responsibility in the tourism and air transport sectors, notably as director of the Civil Aviation Service of French Polynesia.
Passionate about contemporary history, he has dedicated his work to rehabilitating the memory of the Tamari’i Volontaires and the Tahitian Poilus, as well as the history of Tahitians in the Indochina and Korean wars. His bibliography includes works such as “The 11th Tahitian SAS,” “The Wings of the Islands or 60 Years of Inter-Island Air Relations”, “Hōrue: Tahitian Surfing from its Origins to the Jaws of Teahupo’o” and “James Norman Hall in the Great War.”
Jean-Christophe Shigetomi is a Knight of the Legion of Honor and a Knight of Arts and Letters.
