Artists in residence

Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Olga Tsvetkova

Olga Tsvetkova is a choreographer, theater director and dance curator.

In Russia Olga Tsvetkova worked as a dancer in Sasha Pepelyaev’s project Kinetic. She graduated from the School for new Dance development (SNDO, Amsterdam). During her studies she took part in works by Debora Hey (USA) and Benoit Lachambre (Canada). In 2016 she was a resident of Dansateliers in Rotterdam. In 2017 she graduated from the master of theatre program in Amsterdam (DAS Theatre) and was a DANCEWEB scholarship recipient in Vienna (Impulstanz festival). From 2018 till 2022 she has been working as the curator at V-A-C foundation (GES-2 House of culture in Moscow). In 2021 she was working as an expert from Russia at Aerowaves European dance network. In 2022 after the beginning of the war she moved from Moscow to Petersburg and founded there together with Kseniia Volkova a “New dance academy”, a one year program for the choreographers with main focus on European dance networks.

Her collaborator Angelina Rud began to study music in Rostov-on-Don. She studied at the Rostov Rachmaninov Conservatory, took part in various festivals, concerts and exhibitions.
She graduated from St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory with honors, then performed on the stage of the Mariinsky Theater in the chamber music programs. Winner of international and Russian competitions and presidential scholarship. Nominee of the Russian National Theater Award “Golden Mask ”. Currently living in Paris, she leads an active concert and pedagogical activity, specializing in problems and ways of music perception in hearing impaired children and autists. Fond of the performance of modern classical music, she writes as well electronic music for various productions and performances with different artists.
