Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Wendie Zahibo is a multidisciplinary artist-researcher, poet, photographer and collage artist, based between Guadeloupe and mainland France. A PhD student at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, she is developing a practice at the intersection of art, research and knowledge-sharing. Her work explores diasporic identities, living memories and vernacular imaginaries in the Black Atlantic.

Beatrice Zaidenberg

Curating
Beatrice Zaidenberg is a curator and an interdisciplinary collaborator, committed to fostering dialogue across curating, design, architecture, and science. Her practice is based at the community agency Dusts Institute in Vienna, where she addresses the impact of air pollution on public and environmental health. She has conducted “Dusts Walks” in Germany, Austria, and Colombia. As a next step, Beatrice plans to initiate a network of interdisciplinary practitioners and the local public, laying the groundwork for collaborative responses to environmental challenges beyond technocratic or top-down policy frameworks. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History from Humboldt University Berlin and has curated exhibitions at ZKM (Karlsruhe, Germany) and FACT (Liverpool, UK).
