Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Visual arts
Yolanda Ceballos is a visual artist and architect. Her work explores memory, time and transformation through sensory systems and evolving materials: fog, smell, condensation and salt. She constructs immersive environments where perception becomes spatial structure and atmosphere acts as a medium. She develops what she calls temporal architecture: a method of construction through breath, repetition and the scale of the body. It is a practice of atmospheric knowledge, where mist settles, smells are remembered and salt becomes the visible residue of time. Her installations unfold as systems of transformation: unstable, embodied and alive.
