Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Les Egusquiza (Lima, 1988) Visual artist with training in painting and audiovisual media. Her artistic exploration reveals that we inhabit territories of our own spirit and borders, which extend monumentally on earth and in their sensitive universe—emotions, memories, and dreams guiding her through Andean-Amazonian territories to find her place of belonging. Her creations in drawing, paintings, and sound or visual compositions are her own translations of encounters with beings that host her: Mountains, rivers, clouds, trees. Her pieces reflect on their capacity to be works of art, rituals, and/or possess spirit.
Her experimental shorts have been screened in Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. She has participated in group exhibitions and individual projects in Peru, Chile, Spain, France, and Mexico.
