Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

M’barka Amor lives and works between Lyon and Paris. A graduate of the École des Beaux-arts de Lyon, she pursues a diverse plastic art practice rooted in drawing and writing, which simultaneously take the form of volume, video, and installation to create immersive, reflective, and aesthetic exhibition paths. Her work has been shown at the Galerie 31Project in Paris, the Institut des Cultures de l’Islam, and the Fondation H.
In March 2023, she presented her first institutional monograph titled Le Rêve de l’Autre at the Madeleine Lambert Art Center. She continues with a resonance of the 2024 Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale, where she will deploy an installation in the Manifesta space.
She is represented by the Galerie 31Project in Paris
