Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Music
Negar kharkan was born in 1983 in Tehran, Iran.
She started Music at the age of 11 and got B.Mus from Music college in 2003 and her M.Mus from Art university in 2006.
Negar started learning music in 1994 by going to Music conservatory in Tehran and learned Kamancheh by Masters: Hadi Montazeri , Ardeshir Kamkar and Saeed farajpouri and started Teaching kamancheh in Music conservatory in Tehran since 2002-2008 and Teaching at Art & Architecture university of Tehran since 2008-2010.
She is teaching at Rhythmitica online Music Academy since 2014.
Negar has produced many albums, including That bewitching black (as composer), Sabz dar Sabz, The path of shabdiz and Rame.
