Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Architecture and design
Sara Ayoub is an architect (HMONP) who graduated from ENSA Paris-La Villette in 2019. Her practice combines architecture, design and materials research, focusing on what endures in architecture as it is transformed by time, use or technology. She is developing NeoRuins, a research framework exploring erosion as an active design tool, carried out during residencies at Art Omi, the Adobe Archipelago with Ronald Rael, and the Cité internationale des arts. As a researcher on the 3D Printing Architecture (3dPA) programme at the IAAC, she co-developed Teixit, a prototype presented at the Venice Biennale, and co-authored an article presented at the INHA. She has designed exhibition installations at Dar Bellarj (Archéologies) and at the Macaal.
