Artists in residence

Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Fabio Luks (*1982 in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, lives and works in Basel, Switzerland) works in the mediums of painting and drawing. He studied philosophy at the University of Basel and painting at the Institut Kunst in Basel. At the heart of his practice is the relationship between humans and architecture. His works explore spatial and social links and oscillate between a playful humor and a poetic dimension.
