Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Music
Peter Luha is a Slovak guitarist, singer, composer, producer and music educator whose work moves freely between classical roots, rock, progressive music, improvisation and experimental approaches to sound. He has performed more than 2,500 concerts across Europe, the USA, Mexico and India. Alongside his solo music, he explores the dialogue between sound and image. Together with visual artist and animator Lucia Černeková, he created On The Road – an animated project combining her hand-crafted visual world with his original music, sound design, video editing and digital animation work, developed and presented during their residency at Cité internationale des arts in Paris.
