Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Élisa Barbier is a graphic designer and multidisciplinary visual artist based in Le Havre. She works across visual art projects, installations, and graphic creations, blending a wide range of media including video, 3D, painting, sculpture, typography, sound, and more.
The forms she creates aim to convey the energy of life through color, materials, and words. She explores our relationship with nature through her research on minerals and gemstones, while also inviting people to think and create together through collective and collaborative editorial projects. In doing so, she questions the connections between design, digital tools, and visual arts, while infusing a touch of magic essential to the evolution of our collective consciousness.
Élisa graduated from La Martinière-Diderot, the ESA in Pau, and ESADHaR in Le Havre. She is an active member of the Lok Lak association and the co-founder of Collectif Magma.
