Artists in residence

Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Theater

Bardol Migan is a comedian and director from Benin. Actor of theater and cinema, he meets very early the amateur scenes of the Beninese theater, through the festivals of school theater. Path that he pursues once at the university. There, he meets other young actors from the stage with whom he makes a journey. It was at university that he began his first stammering towards the professional world. Passing through the El Hamra Arts Center in Tunisia, the Comédie de Saint-Étienne in France, the Récréâtrales in Burkina Faso, the Univers des Mots in Conakry where he underwent acting and directing internships, he is on the list of remarkable young people from the cultural sector of his country. It offers a committed African theater that speaks without ever being able to be silent.
