Artists in residence

Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Visual arts

Linda Mitram is a graduate of the School of Graphic Arts (Studio MMarseille) and the School of Fine Arts (Campus Caribéen des Arts de Martinique). She chose photography as her mode of expression, while also taking an interest in other types of media (short films, drawing, sculpture). As an artist photographer, she has just completed her series ‘Essaisur le Nu masculin’ (Essays on the Male Nude), produced as part of a research residency at the Scène nationale Tropiques Atrium. This series is published in the art magazine DO·KRE·I·S (#6 méso) and in the book Lustedmen. In May 2024, she will participate in the Sport frendly project led by Emilien Buffard in partnership with the Alliance de Saint Luice. In addition to her creative work, she photographs the work of performance artists, dance companies and behind-the-scenes cultural events. She is also the Director of Communications for EtcCaraïbe (Contemporary Theatre Writing in the Caribbean).
