Organised by the Festival d’Automne, Cours de Ré-création invites pupils aged 4 to 20 to act as exhibition guides each year: after visiting the exhibition themselves, they introduce it to pupils from other schools, from different geographical areas and age groups.
Accompanied by the guide Sarah Clément-Colas, the classes meet and share their impressions through a variety of media: drawings, texts, videos, photographs, models, performances, collages… This approach engages everyone’s thinking and imagination and involves the pupils in a collective endeavour centred on a key question: how can they best convey their perception of the artworks?
The exhibition brings together the visual artworks created by the young people who took part in the programme. It bears witness to the intergenerational exchanges and encounters that took place around three exhibitions, two of which were presented as part of the 2025 edition of the Festival d’Automne: Astérismes (Fig. II) by Bouchra Khalili, designed for the Odéon – Théâtre de l’Europe, Minimal at the Bourse de Commerce, and Paris des Vi(ll)es | Public Intimacies at the Cité internationale des arts.

Paris des vi(ll)es | Intimités publiques
To mark the Cité’s 60th anniversary, from 8 October 2025 to 23 January 2026, Paris des Vi(ll)es | Public Intimacies created spaces for conversation, creation, improvisation and reflection on the following question: Is Paris a hospitable city, and how do artists from all over the world, including many residents of the Cité, experience this city?
