An evening screening of eight short films by artists in residence
An event as part of the 12th edition of the festival Les Traversées du Marais: Dialogue(s)
Conceived for the theme of the Traversées du Marais as a space for dialogue between different practices of the moving image, this evening brings together short films that exist somewhere between documentary, fiction and experimental forms.
From one film to another, these works show individuals and communities who, faced with the fragility of the worlds they inhabit, seek to preserve their relationships with others, with places and with the stories that make them who they are.
Messages left for absent recipients, family albums, popular archives, songs, unfinished conversations or daily acts of survival become forms through which these relationships persist or are reinvented.
