Open Studios « curated by » Sciences Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye → Marais Site
As part of the Open Studios, the Cité internationale des arts invites a partner to be the curator for an evening event.
Curators of this evening, Master’s students from Sciences Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye present the work of fourteen artists across three thematic itineraries.
fragments brings together works by Simão Cardoso Pereira [Mong], Hee Joh Lee, Elzara Oiseau, Maria Guță and Stella Jermann. This exhibition follows traces, experiences and intimate memories: while these fragments may be painful, once recomposed they can become the building blocks of reconstruction.
Mémoire vivante follows the transmission, displacement and transformation of memory. An active force, memory helps to shape identities and rework dominant narratives, as in the research of Zachari Logan, Isadora Soares Belletti, Nitsan Margaliot, Florencia Martínez Aysa, Teneille Prosper and Tania Cortés Becerra.
Passage focuses on the ephemeral, with the works that comprise it exploring the possibilities of transmission, whether culinary, historical or of a sensitive moment. The exhibition features Anita Witek, Chia-Ying Lin and Edizon Muj Cumes.
The itineraries were designed by Juliette Antunes, Léonore Araujo-Dutartre, Valentin Benguerbi, Perick Berlehner, Hippolyte Blanc, Joséphine Crémet, Marie-Lys De Fremond, Aurélien Delpy, Victoria Derex, Quentin Desombre, Eloïse Duperon, Marilou Fuzeau, Lisa Gendrier, Matthieu Guégan, Héloïse Landois, Raphaëlle Martin, Loïc Mendes, Marika Metivier, Lola Paul, Charlotte Prieur, Charlotte Prince, Marie Ravetto, Noé Robert, Agathe Salgues, Margot Sourice, Marie Sovignet, Clémence Thery and Rachel Wainstein.
