Artists in residence

Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Dušan Stipić Dudwarszky

Stipić Dudwarszky Dušan was born in 1996. He enrolled in undergraduate studies in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 2013. After his undergraduate studies, he completed his master’s degree in Painting at the same faculty in 2018. In 2024, he defended his doctoral dissertation “From Apotheosis of a Visual-Methodological Process Towards a Modern Sacrament” at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. His works are held in private and public collections across Europe. In 2023, he obtained the status of an independent artist. In 2025, he was selected as a member of the Art Council of ULUS and SULUJ (Union of Fine Artists’ Associations of Yugoslavia). He is currently working within an art-therapy team at a psychiatric institution for children and adolescents in Belgrade.
