Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Visual arts
Sabina Suru is a transmedia artist based in Bucharest, RO. With a background in painting and visual studies, her practice is based on a post-digital approach, rooted in alternative and experimental silver-based photography and holography, respectively time-based media and participatory installations.
Her projects integrate elements and concepts from science (optics, physics) through collaborations with practitioners from diverse fields such as scientific research and media archaeology, contemporary dance and music, focusing on identity mutation, objectification and exographic memory, as well as the care and reactivation of technologies.

Explorer of the abandoned future, on these very doubtful roads, the musician and artist Jeanne Susin crossed tons of divers of the marvelous limpid blue, masters of chaos tasting the poetic residues of the refinery companies, obsessive and obsessed of all kinds, misogynists, slaves of women, distraught mothers and lovers inspiring sweet and crazy songs. She knows that music is nothing but a shot she takes for herself and that vitalizes her cells, that music is nothing but the vital and violent noise of love.
On the walls of her room, she observes the dust of clarity. It will be the sensual revolution or nothing. Then she falls asleep and has a dream.
