Artists in residence

Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Morgane Bonis & Manon Torné-Sistéro

Year/s of residence : 2025, Académie des beaux-arts

Dance

This duo, formed in early 2025, brings together Manon Torné-Sistéro, a visual artist, and Morgane Bonis, a dancer and choreographer. Their affinity for each other grew out of a strong shared interest in issues of reciprocity between the monstrous and the fabricated body. This encounter quickly gave rise to a desire to combine their research and cross-pollinate their practices in a constant need for each other to imagine a short film and immersive performance project.
