Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Leonyx Davida is a multidisciplinary artist, researcher, and cultural manager whose work focuses on socio-cultural revolutions, approaching artistic language in a cross-cutting manner through performance, fashion, and audiovisual media. The body is the central pillar of their work, exploring its potential as a means of movement, transformation, expression, identity, and transition.
Their works seek to highlight the contextual realities of their territory, establishing an inherent dialogue between the past and the future, between ancestry and futurism. This connection with the Afro-futurist movement is explicitly manifested in their performances and audiovisual creations.
