Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Ndoho Ange

Born in 1983, Ndoho Ange is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is rooted in movement as her primary language. Trained in hip-hop dance in the 2000s, she developed an interest in Afro-Caribbean dance at an early age. Her practice spans dance, visual arts, photography and music, constructing a hybrid form of research. She revisits rituals, integrating memory, spirituality and metamorphosis. Her creations Random Believer and Who’s Fear Death combine dance, digital music and visual arts, questioning death, rebirth and identity, turning the stage into a sensitive and sacred space. As an artist in residence at the Cité internationale des arts, she is continuing her writing and creative work on a new choreographic piece.
