Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Architecture and design
Huangfu Wenxin is a young Chinese artist focusing on metal art and contemporary jewellery. Pursuing her Master’s degree in Metal Art at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, her practice centres on material qualities, craftsmanship and formal aesthetic language. Her research explores the translation, transformation and contemporary reinterpretation of traditional craft techniques. Working with metal, enamel and mixed media, she re‑contextualises traditional craft wisdom through modern perspectives, pursuing genuine contemporary articulation of traditional craft logic.
