Artists in residence

Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Visual arts

Artist, scenographer, and cellist, graduated from the Pavillon Bosio with a DNSEP, Eléonore Kabouche uses sound installation, video, and performance to convey site-specific improvisational experiences.

As a visual artist working with dancers, she supports research and improvised practices alongside Alice Godfroy and Christine Quoiraud. She is also deeply engaged with the presence of bodies within exhibition spaces. She intersects these fields to shape curatorial intentions rooted in archives and dance photography.

As a mediator and scenographer for La Collection voyageuse of the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco, she explores “care” practices at the intersection of mediation and conservation. She also collaborates on exhibition curating, such as Danses du regard at the Pavillon Bosio with Leah Friedman in 2024, and Agora: la place du Musée with Benjamin Laugier at the NMNM in 2025.
