Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Tilhenn Klapper

Tilhenn Klapper is a French-American visual artist, choreographer and singer, with degrees from the Beaux-Arts de Paris, Sciences Po Paris and Vassar College (NY), and certified traditional herbalist. She has worked with choreographers Yair Barelli, Madison Bycroft, Boris Charmatz and Ingri Fidskal. In 2020, she received the DanceWEB scholarship in the Impulstanz festival. She has shown her work at MUDAM, FRAC Île-de-france, CAC Bretigny, Galerie Les filles du calvaire, Musée National Eugène Delacroix, Kanal Centre Pompidou, Briqueterie CDCN, and Palais Chaillot, among others. She is a PhD student in the Sciences, Arts, Création, Recherche (SACRe) program at École Normale Supérieure and Beaux-Arts de Paris, and collaborate with the Collège des Bernardins in the chair “Laudato Si”. Tilhenn Klapper works at POUSH.
