Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Dorotej Neshovski (b. 1989, Skopje) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Skopje, North Macedonia. His practice explores the relationships between body, space, landscape, social systems and everyday life through sculpture, installation, drawing, printmaking, collage, performance, public-space interventions and experimental mapping. He holds BA and MA degrees in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje and is a founding member of the interdisciplinary art group SEE. His work has been exhibited internationally, including in Paris, Tokyo, Berlin, Venice and Prague. He received the Prince Claus SEED Award in 2023 and the DLUM Sculpture Award in 2024.
