Artists in residence
Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Felix Riemann

Music
Felix Riemann is an interdisciplinary artist whose projects engage the somato-political dimensions of musical and poetic forms, with a particular focus on the role of vocals, immersiveness, and collective listening. Their work addresses and draws from notions such as resilience, urgency, and volatility as both structural conditions and lived experiences.
Felix has performed live at various venues in London, including the Institute of Contemporary Arts, Amoenus, Ormside, and Venue MOT. Their performances involve live composition, sound spatialisation and co-creative vocal arrangements. They produce electronic music under the alias leslie, and their debut album, ‘Why So Eager,’ was released in 2022.

Eleni Riga

Curating
Eleni Riga is an independent curator and researcher based in Athens, whose practice explores the connections between feminism and ecology. She has worked in the Education Department of MoMA (New York), directed the contemporary art program of Eleusis 2023 – European Capital of Culture, and served as curatorial assistant for documenta 14 in Athens and Kassel. As an independent curator, she has collaborated with Kunsthalle Friart (Fribourg) and BO (Oslo), and since 2022 she has directed the Office of Hydrocommons, a curatorial program on the politics of water and the body, in partnership with ATOPOS cvc and various international actors. A graduate of Panteion University (Athens) and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as the Curatorlab at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design (Stockholm), she has participated in numerous residencies in Greece and abroad.
