Artists in residence

Each year, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes more than 1,000 artists from around the world, offering them a space for creation, research, and exchange in Paris, in the Marais and Montmartre districts. Open to all artistic disciplines—visual arts, music, literature, film, design and architecture, performing arts, and curating—it enables artists to develop their projects in an environment that fosters experimentation and meaningful connections.

Born in Düsseldorf, Germany lives and works in Oberwil (BL) and Basel, Switzerland.
Artist and freelance photographer. Since 2013, lecturer in architectural photography at the FHNW Institute of Architecture. Member of the Haus Oslo Ateliers cooperative, Dreispitz Basel. Trained as a photographer from 1989 to 1993, attending the Basel School of Applied Arts, Department of Photography. After various assistantships in Switzerland and abroad, since 1995, in addition to selected commercial work, he has also produced photographic and video works for exhibitions and publications. He has received numerous awards and projects in the fields of art and architecture. His works are represented in public and private collections.
