TRAME

Programme for Francophone artists

Programme

Trame is a residency programme, aimed at French-speaking artists from all over the world and from all disciplines (curating, visual arts, cinema, performing arts, writing, music) who wish to develop a research and creative project in Paris, for a period of three months in spring 2025. Ten laureates are selected each year.

The program offers support composed of regular meetings between artists and with cultural professionals. It is rooted in the heart of the life, activities, and networks of the Cité internationale des arts.

Trame is supported by the Ministry of Culture and is part of the ongoing efforts to support Francophone artists led by the Cité internationale des arts, which was designated as a reference center for Francophone creation by the Ministry of Culture in 2019 alongside La Chartreuse de Villeneuve-lès-Avignon – Centre national des écritures du spectacle and Les Francophonies – Des écritures à la scène in Limoges.
