The partner of this programme :
The BBK in Bremen is an Association of Professional Visual Artists from the fields of drawing, graphic arts, painting, sculpture, objects, photography, film, conceptual art, artistic research, installation and performance.
The tasks and goals of the BBK are to represent the interests of the profession, among other things, with regard to the economic situation and social security vis-à-vis politics and administration; to improve the working conditions of artists; to make the work of professional artists in the region known in Bremen and outside of Bremen; to promote the exchange with artists in Germany and abroad; to support the cooperation between the members; to act for the visual arts in local networks together with colleagues from all artistic disciplines such as the performing arts, music, film and literature; and to maintain the exchange and cooperation with the Federal BBK and the state associations.
