The programme
As part of the City of Fribourg x Cité internationale des arts programme, artists who live in Fribourg or have close links with the city (exhibitions, concerts, etc.) are hosted in residence at the Cité. Every two years, an artist is selected to develop a project in the heart of Paris for a period of 12 months.

The Department of Culture of the City of Fribourg (Switzerland) defines and implements the city’s cultural policy. It deals with issues relating to the promotion of cultural activities in the broadest sense: support for projects by cultural players, artists’ residencies, administrative support and assistance, etc. The City of Fribourg is part of a large Swiss network that defends the interests of cultural players and artistic circles.
